The Reverse Recruiter Podcast: Guest Appearance Release and Consent
Version 1.0 · Effective October 29, 2026
This release is between CoachChecK, Inc. ("CoachChecK", "we"), producer of The Reverse Recruiter Podcast (the "Podcast"), and the guest who accepts it ("you"). Please read it before your recording. Questions: team@coachcheck.io.
How you sign
When you book your recording, you tick "I have read and agree to the Guest Release" and type your full legal name. Typing your name is your signature. You also confirm your agreement at the start of the recording. We email you a PDF copy of this version.
1. Who can be a guest
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and that you are not currently on a high school or college roster or a college coaching or athletics staff. If that changes before your episode is published, tell us at team@coachcheck.io and we will hold or remove your episode.
2. What you allow us to do
You allow CoachChecK to record your appearance (audio, video and the conversation's text) and to edit, publish, distribute and promote it, in full or in clips, in the Podcast, on our website and newsletter (The Reverse Recruiter), and on social media and podcast platforms. This includes using your name, the photo you give us, and a short bio you approve. This permission is non-exclusive, worldwide and does not expire, except as described in section 10.
3. No payment
Your appearance is voluntary and unpaid. You will not receive money, gifts or anything of value for appearing, and nothing in this release is a name, image and likeness (NIL) deal, an endorsement agreement or a sponsorship.
4. Your voice stays yours
We will not use AI or any other technology to clone, imitate or re-create your voice or likeness, or to make you appear to say anything you did not say. We may use tools to produce a transcript and captions, and to remove pauses, filler words and background noise. Any AI-generated audio in the Podcast (such as a narrated intro) is labeled as AI and never presented as you.
5. Editing
We may shorten and edit the conversation for time and clarity, but we will not edit it in a way that changes the meaning of what you said. We decide whether, when and in what form the episode is published.
6. Accuracy and disclosure
You will distinguish facts from opinion, firsthand experience from secondhand information, and identify material uncertainty. After reasonable inquiry, your factual statements must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, without knowing falsity or reckless disregard for truth. You will promptly report material errors and disclose no information prohibited by this release or otherwise unauthorized. In particular, you agree not to: (a) name, describe or share information about anyone under 18 other than yourself or your own child, and only as you choose; or (b) share anyone's private, medical or confidential information, including terms of a contract you are bound to keep confidential. Your views about coaches, schools and programs are your own experiences and opinions. We may remove any part of the recording that we believe raises a legal or privacy concern.
7. Indemnity
You will indemnify CoachChecK, Inc. for third-party damages and reasonable legal expenses to the extent caused by your material breach of the accuracy or disclosure obligations in section 6, excluding losses caused by CoachChecK's negligence, willful misconduct, or edits materially changing your meaning. CoachChecK will promptly notify you of claims and obtain your written consent before settling any claim that imposes obligations on you.
8. Former athletes and coaches
If you left a roster or a coaching or athletics staff in the last year, or might return to college sports, you are responsible for checking any rules that still apply to you before you record. We will not ask about, discuss or encourage a transfer, a commitment or a change of school, and you will not use the episode to recruit or to name or discuss any prospect who has not signed with a school.
9. Your information
We use your name, email, phone and scheduling details only to plan, record and publish your episode and to contact you about it. We will not add you to our newsletter, beta list or any marketing list unless you separately ask to join. Recording and scheduling run through tools we use for production (currently Riverside and Calendly).
10. Changing your mind
Before your episode is published, you can withdraw by emailing team@coachcheck.io, and we will not publish your recording. After publication, within thirty days of your written request, CoachChecK will remove or disable your contribution on platforms it controls and, where reasonably practicable, request removal by third-party distributors. Removal of downloads, cached copies, reposts, or other copies outside its control is not guaranteed.
11. No endorsement or advice
Appearing on the Podcast does not mean you endorse CoachChecK or its products, or that CoachChecK endorses you. The Podcast is general information, not legal, financial or eligibility advice.
12. Entire release
This is the full agreement about your appearance. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. This release is governed by District of Columbia law; disputes go to the courts of the District of Columbia.
